In January I watched the winter clouds scud across the english sky and the sun popped out to illuminate the stately home of Cliveden.
This is the only place in the whole Thames Valley that we see how the river cuts through the escarpment. It’s a stunning view with one of the country’s finest stately homes glistening in the sun.
The sunlight also played across the new grown winter greenery and picked out the colours in the bare skeletal trees. It’s a glorious view of one of the best corners of the Thames valley.
