There’s a stunning view of  Canterbury Cathedral from the top of the campus of the University of Kent. Best seen when the leaves are off the trees. The Cathedral has been a place of pilgrimage ever since Thomas a Becket’s brutal murder there.  I imagine this would have been the first view the pilgrims would get coming over the hill…..
